Our Trademark

“Silkworm” our brand name and trademark is derived from the silkworms or caterpillars which spun the silk threads from which our soft, shiny, breathable and comfortable men’s silk boxers are made. The cultivation of silkworms allows the production of silk cocoons and hence the filaments of silk that lands on weaving looms to produce the finest quality silk fabric intended for our use.

While constructing its cocoon, each silkworm will twist in a figure-8 motion about 300,000 times and produce around 1 kilometer of filament. Silk is harvested by placing the cocoon in either boiling water, or blasted with steam or hot air. The heat softens the binding agent so that the filaments may be unwounded. It takes about 2500 caterpillars to make a single pound of raw silk. Raw silk strands are then twisted together until a fiber of sufficient strength for weaving is produced. Spun silk is comprised of broken filaments that have been processed into a yarn.

Mulberry leaves are usually fed to silkworms in the production of silk.

Our Manufacturing Process

With Silkworm silk boxers, you can have all of the luxury and comfort you are looking for without the large price tag. Silkworm 100% silk boxers are made with heavier 19 mm Thai Silk, hence the boxers are stronger and more durable compared to other silk boxers available on the market. Our shorts have a single-button fly, and a wide elasticized waist. All our boxers are designed and made without seams on both sides to ensure that splits do not occur and also further enhance the comfort of silk.

This special seamless design allows the fabric to be joined into the middle to reduce wear and tear and ensure maximum comfort. A higher quality and wider elastic waistband will also provide a better and more comfortable fit. Silkworm’s 100% pure silk boxers provide you with top quality luxurious underwear and/or nightwear.

Silkworm 100% pure silk boxers come in 5 sizes and 10 different colors to choose from. They are packed and shipped in Silkworm’s quality cardboard mailing envelopes. Orders can be made
